Therefore, since early 2022, Robotic Process Automation(RPA<\/a>) technology has been used to automate manual processes.<\/p>\n

Coping with staff shortages and reducing workloads<\/h2>\n

By deploying RPA<\/a>, GGDrU can already respond faster to unexpectedly high workloads, e.g. due to a new peak in the number of COVID-19 infections. This also applies to regular processes, e.g. within the Youth Health Care (JGZ) department. The mounting shortage of doctors and nurses is increasingly threatening to become a problem. By deploying software robots<\/a>, the organization can now “give hours back” to staff, as it were. So that they can focus on the primary process. By automating administrative tasks, GGDrU can work more efficiently and at the same time better meet the high quality requirements set for the work of the GGD. Think of the timely transfer of files to chain partners, or additional checks required on the accuracy of (personal) data. How are GGDrU employees reacting to the arrival of their new digital colleagues?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Employees at the GGD have responded enthusiastically to the arrival of Wally and Evi. By automating 9 processes, such as filing healthcare emails, processing enrollments, handling “stoppers” lists, checking student lists and recording COVID-19 test results, many repetitive tasks are taken out of their hands.<\/p>\n

To ensure that employees are prepared to work with their new digital colleagues, Tacstone Technology provided a number of RPA training courses. After JGZ now software robots at Finance<\/h2>\n

There is much enthusiasm for expanding Wally & Evi’s range of tasks. Besides automating a number of additional tasks within the JGZ department, the digital employees will also start working within Finance. Think, for example, of preparing and sending sales invoices, or checking incoming invoices.
