Testing is becoming increasingly important for organisations. IT landscapes are constantly evolving, with updates, upgrades and functional changes. Before a client moves these changes into production, they need to be certain everything is working correctly. Clients want to go live with confidence \u2013 they want full control over quality.<\/p>\n

The collaboration between Tacstone Technology and PTWEE originated at a shared client in the medical sector, who was facing this exact challenge. Test automation for SAP systems not only provided greater control over quality, but also led to cost savings and more efficient business processes. Eliminating bottlenecks<\/span><\/h2>\n

\u201cTesting is a costly process for many companies, as it requires significant time from both internal and external staff,\u201d says Ebert Knol, partner at Tacstone Technology. \u201cAt the same time, the pace of software releases and updates continues to accelerate. Increasingly, cloud applications release updates not just twice a year, but monthly or even weekly. With every release or update, it\u2019s essential to ensure everything works properly. Testing plays a key role in that. It takes a lot of time \u2014 and because of its repetitive nature, there\u2019s a real risk it\u2019s done hastily or incompletely, with all the consequences that may bring.\u201d<\/p>\n

Test automation can help tackle these challenges. \u201cAfter all, testing isn\u2019t a goal in itself. It\u2019s about minimising risk and identifying issues before they impact operations.\u201d To meet this growing demand, Tacstone\u2019s Kevin Westermann was named MVP in test automation this year. Efficiency<\/span><\/h2>\n

Since 2008, PTWEE has specialised in testing and improving test processes within complex IT environments that use enterprise software solutions such as SAP. \u201cAlongside a structured testing process and the people executing the tests, test automation is becoming an increasingly important element for our clients,\u201d says Roel van Bremen, Commercial Director at PTWEE. \u201cMore and more organisations need to run large numbers of regression tests in the shortest possible time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Working Autonomously<\/span><\/h2>\n

At UiPath, Agentic AI means working with independently thinking agents. \u201cThese aren\u2019t just simple AI features that provide support \u2014 they are agents capable of making decisions and taking actions on their own. What sets them apart is their ability to act proactively within the testing process, while still keeping humans in the loop. People remain part of the process \u2014 but only step in when their intervention is truly needed. Most other tasks are fully handled by these agents. \u201cWe already offered features like Autopilot for Testers, which significantly boosted productivity. \u201cAgentic testing is still relatively new, but it\u2019s the real differentiator. The impact for clients is also tangible: according to analyses, including those confirmed by IDC, organisations can save an average of four million euros per year by using Test Cloud. The average payback period is between five and six months.
