Doing an internship at Tacstone<\/span><\/h2>\n

At Tacstone Technology, learning and growing come first. That is why we like to give room to ambitious HBO and WO students who want to graduate with us. There are often several students doing internships at the same time, and at the moment even 5! In this article we would like to introduce them. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text]\n

Patrick and Anne (Digital Business & Innovation – VU)<\/span><\/h2>\n

First, we introduce the <\/span>Digital Business & Innovation<\/span><\/a> students Patrick Peereboom and Anne Wilbrink of the <\/span>Free University of Amsterdam<\/span><\/a>. This unique program focuses on the innovative digital technologies that are increasingly present in organizations. The one-year Master’s program trains students to bridge the gap between the organization and technology. During this study, through our ‘Build Your Own Robot’ workshop, students come into contact with <\/span>RPA<\/span><\/a>. This is also how Patrick and Anne were inspired. Patrick was able to find the internship position at Tacstone Technology that connects and operates where his interest also lies:<\/span><\/p>\n

“Digital innovations and digitizing\/automating businesses and processes really appeal to me and that is exactly what Tacstone Technology does.” They also want to further develop by implementing new technologies such as (Generative) AI. Therefore, at Tacstone I want to continue to develop myself after my studies as a good RPA developer, who has it in him to automate more and more processes. My research is about what is the perception of managers of different companies on Generative AI.” <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

During the workshop ‘<\/span>Build Your Own Robot<\/span><\/a>‘ one of the topics discussed was what the field of work with RPA looks like. More and more organizations are implementing these technologies, which in turn affects the way employees work and within the organization itself. Anne had another conviction to want to delve further into RPA:<\/span><\/p>\n

“I find it so fun and interesting to solve problems concretely and to be able to see the impact of that immediately. The technology and the way it works attract me tremendously. My research is about the impact RPA has on the work of employees. I will investigate how a robot colleague gives more opportunities for employees to expand their skillset.” <\/span><\/em>[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][image_with_animation image_url=”2425″ animation=”Fade In” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default”][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text]\n

Justin and Mikal (Software engineering – HvA)<\/span><\/h2>\n

The other students are studying at the <\/span>University of Applied Sciences of Amsterdam<\/span><\/a>. Justin van der Kruit started his academic journey with electrical engineering, but soon found out that <\/span>Software Engineering<\/span><\/a> fits him better. His graduation project is dedicated to researching which technologies can best be used to build a dashboard that displays statuses and information about robots from UiPath Orchestrator. Why Justin chose Tacstone Technology, he explains:<\/span><\/p>\n

“I chose Tacstone because they are working on new techniques and are doing a lot of innovations. This is where I hope to develop further myself over the next 2 years.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Since childhood, Mikal van Eijk has been involved with computers, so a future in this industry was not unlikely. First, Mikal completed the course <\/span>Application Developer<\/span><\/a> at the <\/span>ROC of Amsterdam<\/span><\/a> and is now continuing this by doing the study Software Engineer at the same time. Mikal approached Tacstone Technology himself to do his graduation internship with us. His research is about extracting data from a semi-structured document using Artificial Intelligence, after which this data can be used for automation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Abel (Business IT & Management – HVA)<\/span><\/h2>\n

Finally, we would like to introduce Abel Willems. He is currently studying <\/span>Business IT & Management<\/span><\/a> at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Abel already has several years of experience as a robot architect and during his research he will focus on standardizing knowledge sharing for RPA developers with the goal of working more efficiently. When asked what Abel finds so interesting about <\/span>RPA<\/span><\/a> he explains:<\/span><\/p>\n

“That you can make such a big impact for a lot of companies by taking a lot of repetitive work off their hands.”<\/span><\/em>[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][image_with_animation image_url=”2423″ animation=”Fade In” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default”][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text]\n
