UiPath Amsterdam Community Chapter: frontrunner in EMEA
Tacstone Technology proudly fulfills the role of official host for the UiPath Developer community Amsterdam Chapter. This community meets regularly (at least when there is no pandemic…) to share technical knowledge, experiences and new insights with each other. Think about development standards, exception handling, security, reusability or the release of ‘hot’ new products such as AI Center and UiPath Insights.
About the UiPath DEV meet-ups: content and networking
As an RPA Developer, you are the bridge between business and IT. You optimize and automate numerous business processes. You come into contact with many different applications and technologies. This demands a lot from you and at the same time you have to stay up-to-date with the latest UiPath releases, products and development standards. Sharing knowledge is therefore very important to you. At Tacstone Technology knowledge sharing is central in everything we do. Not only within our own organization, but also with external professionals. That is why we initiate and host the UiPath DEV meet-ups.
The UiPath DEV meet-ups take place quarterly. Knowledge sharing on technical topics where you as RPA Developer can really do something with in your organization. With of course always a nice drink afterwards, where you can chat and meet colleagues.

Keynote #1: Dion Mes (UiPath) “The State of AI & RPA in NL”
Dion Mes, Senior Engineer at UiPath, talks about “the State of AI in the Netherlands.” In the market we see a broad interest in AI, but concrete applications are often still difficult to choose or realize. UiPath’s AI Center lowers the threshold. Dion explains how the AI Center helps you as an RPA Developer to integrate AI modules into your automated RPA processes.
Key-note #2: Yannic Suurmeijer (ASML) “ASML’s RPA Journey (from developer perspective)”
RPA is now no longer a stand-alone solution, as was still the case in 2017. The capabilities of UiPath are intertwined with many other solutions to smarten up and automate processes in a far-reaching way. Yannic gives concrete examples about the technical solutions applied in the ASML landscape.
Key-note: Dion Morskieft & John Posthuma (Smallsteps/Partou) – Dell Boomi & RPA
Hyperautomation brings together different components of process automation. At Partou, part of the largest childcare organization in the Netherlands, this principle is applied in a very innovative way by allocating automated processes to software robots via the Dell Boomi platform, after which the robots can perform the process automatically. Dion and John demonstrate the possibilities with this demo.
